So I'm trying to get in some kind of shape other than oval. I drag myself to Planet Fitness (and I can barely afford the $10 a month memberships!). Plop my fat ass on the exercise bike, hook in my earphones and start watching MSNBC (OK, I know it sucks, but there really wasn't any other acceptable choices). I'm into minute 15 of my warm up before hiiting machines, when an elderly man (at least 15 years older than me!), sits down on the bike next to mine. He starts trying to adjust his TV, and ends up switching the channel on my TV. Well, I'm not a total asswipe (at least not yet). He switches it to Fox News. Don't get mad, just adjust my TV back to MSNBC. Well this happens a couple more times while he's fiddling around. I finally tell him (in a nice voice) to point the remote at his TV up close, since it was effecting my TV. He says he's sorry, I say no problem. Then he says, "You learn something new everyday" (referring to the remotes bleeding over). And then I reply, "Not if you keep watching that!" (while pointing to Fox News on his TV!)
A good start to my Monday!
