He undertakes to move the goalposts - if Qaddafi is not removed from power, then Obama has failed. I do not believe Obama ever said that the goal of US military action was the removal of Qaddafi from power - in fact, he has said the converse.

But Newt thinks that if Qaddafi does not fall it makes us look weak. Does it make the UK, France, and Denmark also look weak?

From what I can gather, he's saying Obama is wrong for going to the UN instead of Congress, but now that we're over there, we should be using our full might to just go ahead and take out Ghadafi anyway.

That's not just a "flip flop".  I have no problem with flip flops done on principle.  It's an act of cynicism and it's denying that he ever even had the opposite position less than a month ago.  It's the lying with impunity that is irritating.  And he knows the MSM will let him get away with it.

1) Executive Order: Declare the Health Care Bill Unconstitutional.

2) Big tax breaks for the rich, and even more for corporations.

3) Shut down the EPA - they're worthless

4) Executive Order: Outlaw Abortion

5) Announce you will only run for one term

Follow this advice and we will have a happier, safer America...as long as republicans don't catch on to our ruse.

that does not make what Obama did acceptable.  By starting an Iraq-style war in Libya, Obama proved that he is as incompetent and as disastrous as George Bush.  By the way, the Bolivian president is right.   The Nobel committee should take away Obama's nobel prize now.

I may have doubts about undertaking what may be a much greater involvement than we are currently led to believe this will be.

I may have concerns about how it expands the Bush Doctrine into a new, and yet unstated Obama Doctrine.

But the GOP talking point that Obama dithered and delayed ignores the fact that when presented with a situation of intervening in another country's internal affairs, where a government was still in power and controlled most of the country and the military,  in response to calls from groups and individuals that represent a yet undefined number and nature of Lybians opposing the current despot, Obama held his cards long enough to force other countries and the United Nations to lay theirs on the table.

Contrast Bush in the run-up to Iraq, where he tipped his hand by essentially saying 'with em or without em, we're going in.'  A pose that pretty much ensured that unless we hired them to fight, it would be 'without em'.

Also, Obama put that coalition together and got it into the field in response to these vague and supposedly humanitarian requests in less time than it took Bush to respond to a direct attack on New York City.  

Like I said, I've got concerns.  Dithering on this issue is not one of them.
