Yeah, yeah, you've heard it all before....
Yesterday was a diary about the failure of the federal government to pursue Tom Delay for political corruption: http://www.dailykos.com/...
Take a look at some of the comments....
You do realize that we have federal criminals sitting on mainstream media shows as if they have their opinion, and all opinions are valid.
We have all this isntitutionalized corruption day in, day out, the fox in the hen house, all that, etc. etc.... And you can't get your head around how a three-part national discussion would be a good thing for America? Oh, but wait, Time magazine says America is on the decline, so, guess we should just let it go.
I'm mean, for entertainment value alone, wouldn't it be exciting to watch America convoke a federal convention? To hold the state and national discussions about who is campaigning to be a delegate and what ideas they have for amendments; then to hold a discussion about what the actual deliberative assembly of the convention is voting up or down; and then the last part of the discussion--what We The People are lobbying our states to ratify.
Yet, for some reason, some are only comfortable complaining about what's wrong, they can't advocate for the single principle which deliver us from the mess?
What's wrong? Are you/they depraved in some way? Mind control of some sort? You enjoy watching misery and chaos? You enjoy talking about it?
Please do explain why you and they can make comments like those in the Delay diary, yet in the next breath fail to utter words about the solution?
