Young Brian Deschane has been tossed back to his old job as Wisconsin bureau director of board services where he was paid $64,728 a year. Brian, as you may remember, was promoted to administrator of environmental and regulatory services where he was paid $81,500-a-year. He supervised 76 employees and oversaw storage tank regulations and environmental cleanups.
Brian has no college degree and no experience in the field.
Brian replaced a 25-year state employee who held a degree in chemical engineering and a resume full of management and regulatory experience.
Brian must be a happenin' guy to make more than most school teachers do.
