At about 6:15 PM EDT, I watched the third Bald Eagle egg beginning to hatch. The the hatchling can be seen at times through the opening. With a little patience, the adult will expose the eaglets and the egg so you can watch the egg hatching process live.
For those who missed the live hatch event, the video is now available beloww the fold.

The Decorah Eagle Cam is the result of work done by the Raptor Resource Project in Decorah, Iowa.
H/T and kudos to their director, Bob Anderson, who, because he can, is the guy who is moving and zooming and focusing the Decorah Eagle Cam for the 22,000,000 people or so who have surfed in to watch the action so far.
The first egg hatched April 2. The second hatched April 3.
This is a video recording of the third egg hatch.
The female is larger than the male (in this case). The male is the one with the dark ring around his eyes.
