The DOJ finally got around to fully enforcing the 2006 law banning online poker in the US.

In addition to the charges, restraining orders were issued against 76 bank accounts in 14 countries used by the poker firms and their payment processors.
Five Internet domain names used by the companies to host their games were also seized by the authorities, who filed a complaint seeking $3 billion in money laundering penalties and forfeiture from the poker
Well that sucks. My roomate is a professional online poker player, and he has no idea what he's going to do. He currently doesn't have much in his poker account, but he can't cash it out anyway. He has become officially unemployed because of enforcement of a stupid law. Would put more, but this kinda shakes up my world.
