After thinking the Philadelphia Inquirer was still rightwing despite new ownership, I came acrossKaren Heller's column in yesterday's paper. At least someone at the Inquirer is still sane.
Five years ago, the good people of Pennsylvania soundly rejected Rick Santorum as their senator for a third term, instead opting for stolid, quiet, and somewhat dull Bob Casey, the anti - Rick.
Read the whole thing. It's a relief to find an Inquirer columnist who's lucid. This is, after all, the paper that formerly hired both Ricky and John Yoo. However, Santorum would be easier than some other candidates for Obama to beat in 2012.
