More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

If you can get a transcript or even just summarize a more thorough jist of the conversation, that would make it much easier to discuss.

just listen to the statements by the two parents at the start -  the film itself is dedicated to a middle school young lady who committed suicide in part because she had for the first time in her life failed a math test.

You can also move ahead and sample parts of the first video

for the other two, listening to perhaps 5 minutes at the beginning of each one will give you a sense.

I understand that this is not something that will draw a huge amount of traffic.  If you explore any of the discussion videos or perhaps happen to look at some of the video clips on the film's website, and can think of someone in the DC area who might benefit from seeing the film, by all means share this diary with them as a way of perhaps whetting their appetites and/or persuading them to come to our viewing.

    Peace.

  •  Stunning, And I Am Just A Short (5+ / 0-)

was into watching this. But with that said I can say this. My parents are the most loving folks you'll ever find. They have more college degrees then you can shake a stick at. They rock. But you know, they never knew how hard and/or how sad I was at times in my life. I tired to tell them many times. They didn't seen to "get" it. My life is not like "storybook" good. Wasn't always the case.
