Walker says in the past lawmakers have faced recall elections after instances of misconduct in office and not over a single vote.
"At some point if you have a recall after every vote, you could have those continuously, one-after-another-after-another and it makes it very hard in a Republic for things to get done."

There is a simple solution, Scott. Resign. You and everyone on your side in the legislature, and your Lieutenant Governor, too. Just ... resign. Let the state choose new, non-controversial leaders.
This is not happening because you tried to do the things you campaigned on doing. This recall mess is happening because, without warning, and by your own admission without any fiscal benefit to the state, you tried to destroy public employee unions in your state, and your backers in the state legislature enabled that action.
So ... resign.
Oh, and BTW, you're also wrong about recall elections. Here is a quick summary of the four previous recall elections in Wisconsin, provided by the Wisconsin State Bar:
*
Wisconsin’s first recall election of a state legislator was held in 1932 when state Sen. Otto Mueller (R-Wausau) “refused to obey [then-Governor] LaFollette orders.”8 Sen. Mueller survived the recall election.9
*
In 1990, then-state Rep. Jim Holperin (D-Eagle River) survived a recall election over his vote on tribal spearfishing rights in Northern Wisconsin.10 Now a state senator, Holperin is the target of one of the current recall efforts.
*
In 1996, state Sen. George Petak (R-Racine) was Wisconsin’s first state official to be recalled. Petak’s vote to extend the tax for the Brewers’ stadium to Racine County was the impetus for the recall.11
*
State Sen. Gary George (D-Milwaukee) was recalled in 2003 as a result of an anti-casino gambling vote and his indictment on federal charges that he was part of a kick-back scheme.12
Refusing to obey the governor's orders? That's not misconduct. Spearfishing rights? That's not misconduct. Tax increases? Not misconduct. Only Sen. George had a misconduct charge.
So you not only are you whining, you're also ignorant. Which considering your contempt for education in your own life is not surprising.
Just resign, Scott. Save us all the misery of your continued attempts at governing. Resign en masse with your fellow Republicans. It's the right thing to do.
