Donald Trump is a very modest fellow. He now takes credit for the White House decision to release President Obama’s birth certificate. What’s next? Will he take credit for the sun rising this morning or setting this evening? What a guy!
In a move perhaps worthy of a "carnival barker," not an hour after President Obama made a statement and released his long-form birth certificate, Donald Trump has taken credit for finally getting to the bottom of this monumental mystery.
"I am really honored, frankly, to have played such a big role in hopefully, hopefully, getting rid of this issue," Trump says to reporters in New Hampshire. "Now we have to look at it, we have to see is it really, is it proper, what's on it, but I hope it checks out beautifully. I am really proud, I am really honored ... I'm taking great credit."
Trump also says he wants to see the certificate, but now he wants to talk about more important issues, such as oil prices and China. And more conspiracies, apparently. Because he was quick to bring up how President Obama got into Harvard Law School and Columbia as a transfer student and calling on the White House to release his records from school.
But he continues to use the dog whistle code words in all his appearances. So what is he really thinking?
