According to Cenk, we should have pulled out of Afghanistan 10 years ago. According to Cenk we should have pulled out of Afghanistan when Obama took office. According to Cenk it was never wise to go after the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Obama didn't agree and he bagged Osama Bin Laden.
Obama was right, and Cenk was as wrong as anyone can be. But Cenk doesn't have the integrity, honesty, or the courage to admit it. He couldn't congratulate the first black president, so he came here and gave him a lecture instead.
Obama doesn't need your lectures Cenk. He was right and you were wrong. And now it's a fact.
So, let's talk about Afghanistan. Yes, we did chase bin Laden from there initially -- about ten years ago. But since then we have been fighting a senseless war with the Taliban and God knows who else, when we knew or suspected that bin Laden was in Pakistan. So, what did all of those nearly pointless campaigns in different parts of Afghanistan accomplish when Osama bin Laden was sitting in a house in the suburbs of Pakistan's capital?
Bottom line -- endless war didn't work.
Cenk's minions were in desperate spin mode this morning, after learning that they were tragically horribly unforgivably wrong. So that's what they came up with.
Cenk is an attention-seeker. All he cares about is himself and his own publicity. Honesty and integrity mean nothing to him. He couldn't come on this pro-Democratic website and congratulate Obama. Cenk's ego is far too big for that. So, in usual Cenk form, he came here and shat on the yard and then left.
The Obama bashers, desperate in their tailspin into irrelevance, recommended his diary.
DailyKos is better than Cenk.
Cenk, apologize to the community, to Obama, and admit you were wrong.
Devastatingly, embarrassingly, and tragically wrong.
Obama was right, and you were wrong.
Until you admit it, nobody has any reason to believe you've got one single solitary honest bone in your young-Republican body.
Admit you were wrong, Cenk - or go home with your tail between your legs.
Joe Scarborough is right about Cenk, but he's wrong that Cenk is one of us. DailyKos and the Progressive left supported going after Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan. And we're thankful we have a president with the wisdom to ignore the PUMAS and the Cenk's of the world who's only mission is to undermine Obama any chance they get.
