[H/T OIL GUY]
The Indianapolis 500 evidently has asked Donald Trump to be the "pace car driver" this year.
Not being a car racing fan, I had no idea what the pace car driver is, so for those of you who are similarly unenlightened, it's a car that leads off the race with a few warm-up laps before the real race begins.
When I read that The Donald would be driving the pace car this year (unless the protest against his participation succeeds), a few questions occurred to me.
Donald Trump is from New York. A lot of people in New York don't drive at all (like my mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law, neither of whom has ever had a driver's license). The dude also has plenty of money to pay somebody to drive him around. So how often has he even driven a car himself, anyway?
That began to raise some other questions. I think we, the American people, deserve to know the answers and to see Donald Trump's driver's license. The long form if possible. I want to see which questions he missed on the written test, for one thing.
Here are some other things I'm wondering.
How old was The Donald when he first obtained a driver's license?
How many times did he take the written test before he passed?
Did he deliberately get his license at a DMV location that is known to be one of the easier ones to pass the test?
Can he prove that he did not, in fact, bribe the DMV examiner to pass him anyway after a botched three-point turn during the driving test?
How many times did he have his photo retaken?
Was it any better after they retook it?
How many times has he accidentally driven the wrong way on a one-way street in New York?
Does he have any points on his license?
Is it or is it not true that he had his driver's license suspended because he caused an accident by stopping in the middle of Park Avenue to give a speech extolling his superiority as a driver?
Was he able to identify the purpose of a yield sign during the sign test, or did he think it had something to do with stock market returns?
If he really can pass the eye test, then why does his hair look like that?
Why is it no one from the DMV has stepped forward who remembers his passing the test in the first place?
When I first started looking into this, I believed that he really had a driver's license that he had come by honestly. But the more I learn about it, the more suspicious I am becoming.
