Should we give Peace a Chance do we really Trust our fellow Man?
Is our faith in Man worth risking a War?

I was reading my Friend Mac’s Diary and an idea hit me Mac I said Iran wants power we don’t want them to have Nukes so why don’t we offer them solar cells and wind mills for free in exchange for them dismantling their Nuclear Reactor plus a Peace Treaty with what ever assurances they want?
What kind of assurances would they want what would they need to trust us thats another question.
Anyway why don’t we offer Iran more Green Power than they would get from Nuclear Power for free? Why do this because giving Iran free green power is cheaper than fighting a war?
Also it would give us causa belli to bomb their reactor if they turn us down and Iran knows that.
After all if we publicly offer them more power for free than their nuclear reactor can produce with no nuclear waste, no oil smoke polluting the air plus a peace treaty with what ever assurances they want and they still turn us down.
Then we have to assume they want to build an atom bomb. They also would have to assume that we will attack them if they turned us down. We trap them by publicly forcing them into a situation with 2 outcomes and let them choose.
I’m against war but this idea could avoid a war or create one. If we assume Man is not inherently evil this idea should work should we give this idea a shot?
If we trust in our fellow man we can avoid a war and maybe make a friend. But if we are wrong we create a war instantly.
Is it better to take a risk and hope for the best or is it better to wait and do nothing?
