As I write this, it is 5:53 PM on Kiritimati (Christmas Island), one of the Line Islands of Kiribati, a nation that manages to straddle the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Hemispheres. As Y2K approached, Kiribati decided to place itself fully on the west side of the date line.
So, this liveblog can go two ways. If, despite the disbelief and mockery aimed at Harold Campling, Christ begins the Rapture on His namesake island, you can turn to Daily Kos and watch the westward progress of weatherdude's Rapture system. On the other hand, should Camping's theory be disproven, well, I'm sure you will find good use for this thread.
It's now 5:58 on Kiritimati...

UPDATE #1
From Rapture Tech Support's @RaptureHelpDesk: "We had been putting off the Rapture for a while now. @Jesus was concerned too many people would be demanding his Birth Certificate."

UPDATE #2
UTC+13: Phoenix Islands (Kiribati), Tonga, Samoa.
UTC+12:45: Chatham Islands, New Zealand
UTC+12: Far eastern Siberia, New Zealand, Fiji, more Pacific islands
Update #3
Tonga Radio is online. A really delightful song, Funga Sia, by 'Ulise is playing on their jukebox. I wish my Aunt Gen were alive to hear it. She was mad about Don Ho, but I think she would like this as well. Of course, she has been in Heaven for years so I'm sure she can tune in.
Radio Samoa can be found here, but its domain is in New Zealand. More nice music, and this news item:
O le tama e 89 tausaga le matua o Harold Camping sa ia amataina le Family Radio Worldwide i Kalefonia i Amerika sa ia faia ni folafolaga e faapea o le a toe afio mai Iesu i le aso a taeao ma ave le au amiotonu i le lagi...
Samoa is mostly Christian. Congregationalists (in the US, UCC, CoC and Reformed), Catholics, Methodists and Mormons dominate. Assemblies of God are at 6.6% (possible Rapture fishing grounds).

Update 5
We'll be back, God willing, on December 21, 2012 for the Mayan apocalypse live-blog. That is, if the Palinocalypse or the Gingrocalypse doesn't take place six weeks earlier.
