The May 14th rally in Madison was the first day of Wisconsin Recall Mania. Now it's all about the recalls. As Chris Bowers so eloquently put it:
The only way the new protest movements against austerity and cuts to workers' rights will be taken seriously is if it starts removing elected officials from office. If the movement fails to do that, then elected officials and other powers that be just won't care. And why should they?
The future of democracy in the United States is riding on the Wisconsin recall elections.
If you will not fight for your rights, you will lose them.
The fight begins right here, right now.
Giles and ruleoflaw urge you to read Wisconsin Recall Mania - A Double Fantasy Diary wherein ruleoflaw's righteous rant is engraved in ones and zeroes through the miracle of copy & paste.
