Republicans finally learn to reduce, reuse, recycle
That, right there, is the GOP's entire "new" jobs plan, introduced earlier this week to distract from us the Ryan plan to kill Medicare debacle. Ten pages of clip art and 500-pt font intended to amaze us with the brand new plan to take care of America's "jobs creators." (Not the jobless, of course. They can go fuck themselves.)
Except, as Politico reported, there's really nothing new about it at all:
It's largely a repackaging of policies they've long supported, but if they work to legislate on these issues they may be able to change the conversation from overhauling Medicare to lowering taxes, deregulating and boosting trade.
Maybe they figure, like their beloved Dubya once said, that of course it's a plan because "it's got a lot of numbers in it." (Almost a dozen!)
It may not be new, and it may not actually be a plan, but at least it's green.
