From TPM:
"To get my vote, for me, it's going to take short term [cuts, via spending caps]... Both medium and long-term, entitlements.," McConnell said. "Medicare will be part of the solution."
To clarify, I asked "[I]f [the Biden group] comes up with big cuts, trillions of dollars worth of cuts, but without substantially addressing Medicare, it won't get your vote?"
"Correct," McConnell said.
Lets see, Mitch. You have a net worth of between $7,102,036 to $32,756,000 and you've never had a real job. Hmmm. Nice to marry into wealth, isn't it?
But let me tell you something, asshole, it doesn't mean you have ANY CLOUT WHATSOEVER in deciding whether Medicare is a valid system for the overwhelming majority of us WHO DON'T MARRY INTO THEIR MONEY.
I am so sick and tired of ignorant, arrogant hypocritical know-it-alls who believe their wealth (particularly when it's not EARNED by you) entitles them to beliefs about our social systems that are more relevant than people who actually rely on them.
Yeah. That's right, Mitch. My parents, who paid into Medicare their entire lives - and who now are in their 80s with infirmities that, if they had to pay out of pocket would make them destitute, are not worthy of what you would refer to as a "welfare" medical system.
This man is a scourge. He has done nothing useful in his life but to contribute bills that deprive others of services he will never need. He is a destroyer rather than a builder - and I wish they made a punching bag with his turtle-like impression on it so I could treat him like he metaphorically treats others.
It may be uncouth. You probably consider me BELOW you, but sometimes the most pointed words are the most accurate ones.
So go fuck yourself, Mitch McConnell. That's the most appropriate, and only, greeting you'll ever deserve.
