Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby I'm your man...
All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
We can be like they are
Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby I'm your man...
Valentine is done
Here but now they're gone
Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity...
Romeo and Juliet
40,000 men and women everyday... Like Romeo and Juliet
40,000 men and women everyday... Redefine happiness
Another 40,000 coming everyday...We can be like they are
Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby take my hand... Don't fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Don't fear the Reaper
Baby I'm your man...
Love of two is one
Here but now they're gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear we couldn't go on
The door was open and the wind appeared
The candles blew and then disappeared
The curtains flew and then he appeared
Saying don't be afraid
Come on baby... And we had no fear
And she ran to him... Then they started to fly
We looked backward and said goodbye
We had become like they are
She had taken his hand
We had become like they are
Come on baby...don't fear the reaper
If you are the highly sensitive, nervous type, don't watch
this video. Governor Sato is a bad Man according to some.
Be careful, Don't watch this video, someone might say Governor Sato is a bad man
because he's been convicted of bribery.

In Japan, 71-year-old Eisako Sato was Governor of Fukushima Prefecture from 1988 until 2006. Today he is considered an “Enemy of the State.” He became an “Enemy of the State” in 2006 when he was forced to step down as Governor of Fukushima Prefecture on bribery charges that conveniently followed his condemnation of the safety practices at the Fukushima Power plant.
Mr. Sato retaliated by writing a book entitled Anihilating a Governor. The book was ignored by the media and the public…ignored that is until March 11th of this year. It is now topping Japan’s bestseller list in a nation that has come to the shocking realization that their national government is not to be trusted." Unfortunately, it took this tragedy to make it a bestseller," Sato states with a sign of frustration. Despite the book’s success, Japan's largest newspapers and television corporations continue to ignore him. "Those who say that nuclear power is dangerous, like myself, are treated as state enemies. This is a truly terrifying logic, is it not? Whoever it may be, be it a Diet member or governor, no one has been able to fight such logic so far."
Sato calls the national policy "nuclear absolutism." Last week Sato told journalists at Tokyo's Foreign Correspondents' Club that he was initially an enthusiastic supporter of nuclear power, that like his predecessors he supported it after the government and utility giant Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) brought jobs, subsidies, and growth to his Prefecture. In 1998 he conditionally agreed to the controversial use of mixed oxide plutonium uranium fuel at the plant, but he reneged after discovering a cover-up of reactor malfunctions and cracks. After that, he said his doubts grew." Between 2002 and 2006, 21 problems at the Fukushima plant were reported to my office," Sato said. “Whistleblowers, including employees at the plant, bypassed both TEPCO and Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) to come to me because they feared, rightly, that their information would go straight to TEPCO.”
Sato became an increasingly bitter critic of the Fukushima nuclear plant and Japan's entire energy policy, directed by NISA's powerful government overseer, the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry. In 2006, the government removed this “irritating and annoying” governor with convenient bribery charges. He was forced to resign and he was convicted. He claimed the charges were politically motivated, but in a nation with a 98% conviction rate on criminal charges, his chances of success were small. TEPCO and NISA wanted Sato gone and they got what they wanted – another governor they could control.
Sato was not surprised that this disaster occurred. “There was a dry run for the March 11 disaster last year, after power stopped to pumps sending water to reactor 2 on June 17, 2010. TEPCO was repeatedly asked what would happen if the back-up diesel generators also failed but the company waived this concern away.” Last month's crisis was triggered when the magnitude 9 quake knocked out the plant's electricity and a 15-meter tsunami poured over the building housing the back-up generators which were only built to withstand a 5.7 meter surge. Sato contemptuously dismissed TEPCO's famous statement made immediately after the tsunami that this was a "disaster beyond our expectations," pointing to the history of large catastrophic tsunamis that have assaulted Japan's eastern coastline for thousands of years and the constant academic warnings about the probability of a seismic event beyond the capacity of the plant to withstand.
"This was a disaster waiting to happen," Sato said. Sato is convinced that the Japanese government and the media will do nothing to upset the nuclear status. "Nuclear power must be seen as absolutely safe. In 10 years time we will see another disaster. It's almost as though we are in a fascist country where information is hidden from the public. This is time for Japan to wake up and see what the situation is."
It is not just the Japanese people who are paying the price for the moral corruption of Japanese politicians and bureaucrats. The entire world is suffering the consequences, including our imperiled oceans. From radioactive particulates circling the Northern Hemisphere by air and sea, to pressure from increased over-fishing, to the shut-down of economic productivity in nations dependent upon Japanese industry – the entire world, and every species, is paying the price of this gross irresponsibility. Let’s not forget that the corrupt bureaucrats continuing to support and cover-up nuclear power are the same ones subsidizing Japan’s illegal whaling.
I find it quite interesting the perfect synchronicity of the attacks on my diary series.
The commentators making exactly the same remarks. Well, I learned an old CIA
aphorism a long time ago "You can't hide a Hippo with a Hanky". Well you can't
hide a Level 8 Meltdown with a PR Campaign either. So My friends from HB Gary

ormer Fukushima Gov. Eisaku Sato also sees a likeness between Fukushima Daiichi and Chernobyl. But the similarities that strike Mr. Sato, known as much for his opposition to Japan’s nuclear policy as for the fall from grace that ended his nearly two-decade gubernatorial tenure, are in the ways the two governments—Japan’s and the Soviet Union’s—dealt with the crisis. It’s not a flattering comparison.
The situation that we see in Japan now with nuclear power policy is very similar to what happened with Chernobyl,” said Mr. Sato Monday at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club in Japan, apologizing if he offended anyone in the audience who was involved the Chernobyl accident. “In other words, it’s almost as though we are in a fascist country where information is hidden from the public. I believe that this is time for Japan to wake up and see what the situation is.”
It's really a good op-ed, I wonder what the Trolls will say about it?

A Tokyo Electric official said the operator had started work to repair the cooling facility and hoped to restore the system within several hours.
The official said the breakdown of the cooling systems would not lead to a rapid rise in temperatures at the reactor and spent fuel pool.
http://news.xinhuanet.com/...
When a worker at the plant became aware of the problem at 9 p.m. Saturday, the temperature of the reactor stood at 68 degrees Celsius and that of the fuel pool at 41 degrees Celsius.
They had risen to 87 degrees Celsius and 44 degrees Celsius, respectively, by the time TEPCO began work to restore operations shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday, it said.
that is what you might call Rapid rise...

Fukushima nuclear plant is leaking like a sieve - May 26, 2011
As more details leak out about the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, it's become clear that something else is leaking—radioactive water from the cores of three damaged reactors.
Leaks have been a persistent problem at the plant since it was struck by an earthquake and tsunami on 11 March. Three reactors operating at the time of the quake went into meltdown after the tsunami wiped out emergency generators designed to circulate water through the cores. TEPCO recently admitted that all three units probably suffered complete meltdowns before workers could flood them with seawater.
,,,,
The Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), which runs the plant, hoped to rectify the problem by pumping water into storage tanks until it can be reprocessed, but today Reuters reports that the storage tanks appear to be leaking.
And that's just the start of the bad news because the reactors themselves appear to be leaking as well. TEPCO initially hoped that the leaks were largely coming from pipes that could be repaired, but they now concede that both the reactors' pressure vessels and primary containment vessels, which are designed to contain an accident, are probably leaking water.
Oh no, Nature reports all 3 reactors are in Meltdown and are Leaking like Sieves.
The oh so responsible types must give themselves permission to consider
that this is a problem.

If there is one word to describe events at the Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant in the immediate aftermath of the March 11 quake and tsunami -- with cooling systems failing and the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl brewing in its reactors -- it would be "chaos."
However, as the reactors were shutting down, the plant log reveals workers were being bombarded with alarms for control rod insertions in each reactor, water level fluctuations, and other details of a nuclear plant swinging into crisis-response mode.
According to the TEPCO documents, the tsunami hit at about 3:30 p.m., cutting all power at the plant. In response, at about 5 p.m. TEPCO ordered power-source trucks to head to the plant from its branches nearby. However, "the trucks were unable to make progress due to road damage and traffic jams," a report included in the documents states. Unable to get the trucks to the Fukushima plant, at 6:20 p.m., TEPCO requested neighboring Tohoku Electric Power Co. to send some in their stead.
However, an entry for 9:51 p.m. in the plant duty log also released by TEPCO states: "No entry permitted" to the No. 1 reactor building due to high radiation -- an order that photos of memos on the plant's central control room whiteboard show came directly from TEPCO President Masataka Shimizu. The high radiation that led to the no-entry order furthermore lends support to the theory that a core meltdown began soon after the tsunami struck.
it's actually a sad tragic comic article.
It took almost 24 hours to get power back up and they did and 30 minutes later

Iodine-131: 24,000 becquerels/liter
Cesium-134: 4,100 becquerels/liter
Cesium-137: 4,300 becquerels/liter
Oh no, the Bad Man said "Recriticality".. For those new to the game,
Iodine has an 8 Day half life., s0 77 days... is 9.5 half lifes, so
the shills will say this is all left over Iodine from March 11.
So the concentrations at March 11 would be close to 1 million Bcq/Liter.
Or the Shills will say "Oh the zeolite is concentrating the Iodine".
Of course the shills get all pissy when you ask why the concentrations
keep rising.

Workers entered the building last week to measure humidity and to gauge levels of radioactive substances in the atmosphere.
The results show the Number 2 reactor building's radioactive cesium level is twice as high as the cesium level in air not purified in the Number 1 reactor building. Steam is filling the Number 2 building, and humidity has reached 99.9 percent.
The high humidity means an air purification unit cannot be used to lower the level of radioactivity.
In order to cool the spent fuel storage pool that's causing the steam, TEPCO will put in place a heat exchanger on Tuesday to serve as a cooling system.
But TEPCO does not know how effective the system will be, so it will be a while before it can install the purifier to lower the radioactivity level.
TEPCO doesn't know how effective the system will be.. What's that
strange sense of Deja Vu?

Another senior TEPCO official said workers tackling the crisis at the plant are likely to have to give up their New Year's holidays, saying that work has not been proceeding at an equal pace at the three troubled reactors.
I think the workers will have lost far more then the new years holiday by the new years holidays..

Radiation levels in the Drywell for Reactor 1 spiked at 215 and 225 Sv/hr
1Sv = 100 REM/hr
225Sv x 100 = 22,500 REM/hr
At this rate death would occur within one minute, the drywell is reaching close to vaporization levels
Good thing the reactors aren't boiling.. Oh right..
