Bank of America was ordered by the court to pay the homeowner, Maurenn Nyergers and her husband's legal fees for wrongfully trying to foreclose on thier house.
After more than 5 months, the bank still hadn't paid. So the homeowner's attorney did exactly what the bank was prepared to do to get their money, he went to seize the bank's assets.
"They've ignored out calls, ignored out letters, legally this is the next step to get my clients compensated, " said attorney Todd Allen.
So with several armed Sheriff's deputies, movers and a moving truck in tow, the attorney went to the bank to foreclose. The attorney gave instructions to be ready to remove desks, computers, copiers, filing cabinets, even cash in the teller's drawers.
Turnabout is fair play and all.
