So I made a comment in this diary calling out the anti-semitic elements in it (yes, I cited specific examples int he resulting comment tree).
My comment got immediately massively hide-rated. The thing is, my views on Israel are basically the mainstream american jewish views -- and, more importantly, the mainstream democratic views -- on the matter.
DKos is a site dedicated to electing more and better democrats. The people who hiderated my comments, and who blanket-boms troll-rate anything remotely resembling a pro-Israel view, seem to be dominating the DKos community. So how exactly does that relate DKos to the american political left, when fringe censorious radicals are running the roost?
The front page on DKos is perfectly reasonable; but delve into comments, and a rather different picture emerges...
