Disappointed and Shocked. Disappointed in Weiner, pathetic. Shocked that Breitbart is such a tool. Blackmail much? Investigate both!

RS He should have said from the start, "Look, I'm a dick and everyone knows it. I'm above all you little minyans. How dare you interrupt me when I'm lying?!" LOL....

OK, Bro. I love you, and here's something back.
Of course the truth hurts, Dude. A great legislator can't keep his dick off the internet. A significant loss for "We The People". Believe it or not Randy, he spoke more for you than any of your Republicans ever have. Check out this video... http://www.youtube.com/... When would the last time be that a Republican spoke with passion about an issue that wasn't in the interest of corporations, insurance companies, or the pharmaceutical industry. I'll answer for you, not in 10 years. And never again thanks to the "Citizens United" decision by the SCOTUS.
My Twitter comment was never intended to defend Weiner. In fact, the tweet mentions him as pathetic and calls for his investigation. Thankfully, Minority Leader Pelosi formally asked the ethics committee for one today.
Bro, you seem to think Breitbart should be free of criticism. He didn't bring the truth forward, if you follow the facts, a concerted surveillance effort by a twitter user named PatriotUSA76, otherwise known as Dan Wolfe brought the Congressmen down. Wolfe's been obsessed with Weiner for the a while, mentioning him in his tweets almost 300 times. He was monitoring the account and got a screen capture of the the now famous "weiner". Breitbart got lucky, he just happened to be the outlet Wolfe chose to forward the information to.
Here's what we really need to know about our dear friend Andrew. Before "Weinergate", he's simply lied about his biggest stories and Fox News is complicit in this as well. He's no hero, he's the internet equivalent of the Star supermarket tabloid. The big three...
ACORN - he posted highly edited video clips with captions that misrepresented the conversations actually occurring. The full tapes and transcripts reveal very little of the corruption he reported taking place. You can watch the real story here...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/...
SHIRLEY SHERROD - he posted highly edited video clips of a speech Ms. Sherrod gave in July of last year. In fact, he posted 3 minutes of a 45 minute speech. The point of Sherrod's speech was actually to relate to her audience that she overcame her own bias to come to help the farmer who came to her looking for help. You can watch the real speech here...
http://www.naacp.org/...
PUBLIC TELEVISION - another Breitbart sponsored, O'Keefe manipulation in an effort to show PBS as "liberal" elites. A disturbingly edited piece of video, hacked together to completely misconstrue the actual conversation taking place. And one that even Glenn "Goldline" Beck saw as ridiculous. You can read the whole story here...
http://www.npr.org/...
Breitbart actually took the podium yesterday and played the victim! But you see, he doesn't deserve vindication even though he took a lot of heat with "Weinergate". As Dr. Phil says, "you teach people how to treat you". And anybody with half a brain and an internet connection knows Breitbart is typically a liar.
Another side of this story lies in the fact that Congressmen Weiner has recently brought significant attention to Clarence Thomas' lack of financial disclosure in regard to his wife's 700K salary from right wing think tanks that have been very influential in passing/fighting legislation and possibly in upcoming SCOTUS cases. Breitbart loves Clarence Thomas, calling the confirmation trial of the Justice an "epiphany" in his journey to being a conservative. What about pubic hair on a Coke can and Long Dong Silver makes a person want to be a conservative? Only Breitbart can answer that one.
You see, Democrats typically turn on their own party when controversy arises. It's something many liberals call into question in times like these, but it's an aspect I love. Republicans hypocritically "circle the wagons" and turn on the spin machine to save their own. Politically it's a smart move, but one that indicates they have no soul.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor has been vocal in calling for Weiner to resign. Yet in his own party, he didn't call for the resignation of David Vitter (His number was on a list of numbers using prostitutes, um...excuse me, Escorts). He also didn't call for the resignation of Larry "wide stance" Craig (arrested soliciting sex in an airport bathroom). And although Mark Foley resigned (sending sexual messages to teenage pages), Cantor never asked for it.
So yeah, it hurts. It hurts not because the Democratic party may lose a good one, but because Democracy may lose a good one. The biggest myth of the Republican party is that they give a shit about people like you and I.
Had to go with a blog, no way this fits in a Facebook comment.
Take care Dude,
Eric
