Living in the south strikes again. We have a local channel here in NC (only serves a few counties), and they frequently use it to espouse conservative and religious viewpoints, but this show takes the cake. There's a portly man with a thick drawl (and, I fuck you not, he's drooling as he talks), clinging to his Bible like it's the edge of a cliff, talking about the horrors of homosexuality. He wants the community to recognize the signs of homosexuality, how to forcefully stop homosexuality, and identify a homosexual in the community. He keeps saying we need to "forcefully" stop this. He says the "so-called gay community" is waging psychological warfare on the God-fearing community, and "we" need to be prepared to strike back. I'm a little concerned with the amount of violence-based action verbs he's using. "Eliminate," "get rid of," "forcefully stop," "do battle," "take to the streets."
He's ranting about how the American Family Association is the most godly organization in the country. We will all go to hell if we don't listen to them. The man doesn't know English, let alone how to work Microsoft Powerpoint. He fumbled through a few slides quoting the Bible, then threw this beauty up:
He said that hermaphrodites will go to hell, and they were "the beginning" in forcing an immoral lifestyle on this Christian nation. ...the fuck? I didn't understand his Rapturepercentage math, which is probably a reflection of his stupidity or my small amount of intelligence. Probably both.
He continued.
"When I say homosexual, what comes to your mind. That's right. AIDS. Disease. It gives us a chance to rid the homosexual community and it gives them a chance to play the victim."
He showed this graphic to prove that AIDS = gay disease and the "homo community" successfully scrubbed it from society:
"They're always getting bullied because they're homosexual. They're jamming our culture to try to get us to feel shame. People who question their lifestyle choices are called haters. You can call me a hater all you want to, I love you, I want to fix you. It's part of their agenda."
He's also talking about a college in Massachusetts forcing students to convert to homosexuality. LOL...he just said "They're jamming this down my throat! We don't force this religion on anybody! You can turn off the channel if you don't like it. We don't force anybody to listen to Christianity. You'll be lost, you'll go to Hell, but you don't have to listen to it!"
He then showed this convenient list on how the Gay Agenda operates to get into the mind of America.
Let's review:
- Talk as loudly and often as possible
- Portray "gays" as victims
- Make the agenda a "just cause"
- Make "gays" look good
- Make opposition look bad
- Solicit funds; get corporate America to support agenda
HAHAHA. Oh, I mean, ORLY? Here's how he broke them down:
1 - He was talking about the "immoral gay sex, er, I mean pride rallies."
2 - The "victims of bullying" and "victims of the gay disease."
3 - "It's not a choice!"
4 - "Make them seem human, firefighters, doctors, lawyers, all to get around our children to recruit them or worse."
5 - "Haters, homophobes, they'll throw out all those fake labels."
6 - He never supported this one.
Oh, okay.
I think we know who talks loudly and often as possible, and who said anything about corporate America being on the side of the gay community? Weird.
One last thing before I changed the channel, he showed a continuous list of homosexuals and homosexual-enablers doing harm to our country. Oh noes!
I'm flabbergasted that this kind of shit gets on television. Just think if the gay community had equal amount of time to rebut this on their own show.
Welcome to the good ol' country, folks. This is what's happening in the South, what you don't see on cable news or CNN.com. This is what we're fighting as a country. Apparently, they aren't backing down, and they aren't afraid of threatening violence.
The show is called Religious Review on WGSR. Their telephone numbers are 866-498-6262 and 336-349-5594 if you'd like to let them know how you feel. Here is the rest of WGSR's contact information, if you'd like.
