Huma Weiner should have an abortion. Congressman Anthony Weiner's classic exercise in juvenile yet creative public outreach that was the cock shot, was the clincher. Now Huma Weiner, close aide to Hillary Clinton, needs to put her liberal uterus where her mouth is and exercise her Supreme Court-certified right to terminate what everybody should agree is now a very unwanted pregnancy.
It must have been shortly after learning she was expecting that Mrs. Weiner found out her husband of less than one year, New York City Rep. Weiner, has a history of carrying on indecent "sexting"-style relationships with numerous women, sometimes less than half his age.
I think we can all agree it is for situations just like this one that Jesus Christ blessed mankind with the problem-solver, beautiful for its simplicity and effectiveness, that is abortion. Not to mention such a visit to such a clinic allows the progressive power couple to stay true to and act on their liberal leanings. After all, how many pro-choice pols have stepped up to the plate in support of a woman's right to choose, with anything more than rhetoric?
Even if Huma wants to find a way to save this marriage, it appears they have some pretty serious issues to muddle their way through. Timing is everything and choosing now as the time to start a nuclear family would likely be a terrible decision. Meanwhile, Mrs. Weiner is likely within her first trimester, when about 90% of abortions are performed.
Obviously, nobody wants to undergo the procedure. Nowhere along the political spectrum are there people who throw abortion showers. That being said, if Huma Weiner does intend to have children, those children will be far better off joining her any time that is not in the fresh wake of Rep. Weiner's tweeting Penisgate scandal.
Obviously, the Weiners are people of means and if together they decide to have the child, there is no reason it should not be born into a happy, healthy life including New York City preschool with tuition in line with the Ivy League. Or maybe this is not the crisis God wants Huma Weiner to parlay into children.
It is estimated that 35% of American women will have at least one abortion in their lifetime. That is an awful lot of women Christian conservative ideology seems to sentence to burn eternally in Hell. One can also consult Yahoo! Answers, "Do people who get abortions go to Hell?" where a contributor gently confirms with confusing grammar, "killing an embryo when it hatch is 100% murder!! And since the victim cannot defend him/herself in any way, there is no worst way to kill somebody: if you do this, you WILL go to Hell!! There is no salvation for you."
Nonetheless, "Safe, legal and rare" proclaims the mantra for the Left's Utopian vision on abortion. It is not every day women find themselves with child, dealing with a practically newlywed husband revealing his predilection for such cyber-infidelities. If there were ever a time to call such a reproductive audible, now must be it.
