I thought I would share a few pictures of our recent hiking trip in the Smokies. We did some moderate outings including Cades Cove and a slightly more challening jaunt up to Mount LeConte via the Alum Cave Trail and stayed the night in some "rustic" cabins and then hiked back down the next day. It was well worth the scenery.

I am assuming this is why they are called the Smokies...
Llamas carry the supplies up to Mounte LeConte. Their hooves are less damaging to the trail than other pack carrying animals...

We also swung through Chattanooga and here are a few pictures from the Tennessee Aquarium...
