Man, here we are in a Brave New World. Even I have my own, personal stalker, a one-trick pony. I wanted a pony, but didn't get one but I got a virtual one, and I really don't like horses. The internal combustion engine, while it contributes to bad air, is much more reliable than the horse, which I do not trust. I've been thrown from one, and once is enough. I can't even look at a horse. I will vomit.

But this is not a diary about horses, it is a diary about people.

Follow me over the fold for some background...

I want everyone to go and look at This Diary.

Now, here's a pic:

I got called out in another diary for being a professional composer. Not Marxist enough:

Because I want my royalties on my published stuff. I am a horrible capitalist.

This diary, however is really about gchaucer2. How she was horribly bashed for expressing her opinion. How her diary was horribly trolled. How a wonderful woman, and member of our community was horribly, brutally, told to hold her tongue. Of course! She's a woman!

I don't always agree with gc2, but she's my friend. We don't have any business running her off here, and a lot of people thought that was a fun thing to do.

This place, for what it is worth, is a community. Or, I thought it was.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
