   Is the Constitutionof the United States and our Declaration of Independence draconian documents of yore? Or are they as germane today as yesteryear?

      The US Constitution states quite plainly;


    We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

       In reviewing the writings of Paine, Hancock, Albert Einstein (pictured) and Sam Adams and having a discussion with an 87 year old friend of mine, (who is suffering from cancer for the 4th time). I was reminded of what a great country this is and yet, the only thing that separates us from Europe - is our rebellious ways. We dared to try to take a moral high ground against tyranny and corruption. Thus I try to learn and memorize the words of our founding fathers.

   As denoted by the Declaration of Indenpendence;


--when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security --

   Oath of all Federal civil servants.

    All public servants of America, from the lowly SEC, to the Dept of Justice, FBI, US Trustee's, Judges and President, must take an oath of office. Basically, they swear allegiance to us and what the United States is - a Nation of Law. Therefore, the oath is an allegiance to protect and preserve the Constitution of the United States from all enemies foreign and Domestic!

      As can be seen at the Office of Personnel Management website under
       5 U.S.C. § 3331

       Everyone must swear the following words


I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

5 U.S.C. §3331

     America's public servants are required to be
     "shall be bound by oath or affirmation to support the Constitution."

      Even our President is required by Article II to state that he/she will


to [support] "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

          against all enemies, foreign and domestic;


       So, there is a POLL below - asking you, the reader, if you believe that those who take this oath are bound to it. Simply Yes or No, with the customary "I don't care" added (for the trolls)....

       When our tax paid public servants defy their oath of office and refuse to protect the Constitution of the United States from Domestic enemies - what is one to do? Simply tuck tail and run?

       Sam Adams and Alber Einstein held to the same principle.

        We are not in great danger from the evil that men may do.

        The greater evil

         Are the good people who see evil transpiring and do nothing!

        If you look at what John Hancock wrote (here) and give an honest appraisal of his allegations on - whether or not - they apply today. You will be amazed at what you read. Be honest and just address each statement upon its own merit

   made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

     has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

     protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

      depriving us [those among us] in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

      For suspending our own Legislatures, & Laws

       In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury.

      and declaring themselves invested with power
                  to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever

        We need Elizabeth Warren, because all other agencies are NOT protecting us from our enemies Domestic. When you say that Goldman Sachs, Bush, Bain or JP Morgan are Above the Law - that means they can break the Law without consequence.

        They can assault the Constitution of the United States without regret or remorse.

        But, the only way they can do so - are willfully blind/duplicitious public servants!

        Therefore, I ask you - does the Public Oath to protect the Constitution mean anything today? Has it become draconian, archaic or too quaint?

        Does the Oath to protect and preserve the Constitution apply any more?

         I am hoping, that it is just we are too comfortable and fat with out luxury of life. Though homes are being lost and many more becoming homeless, that my fellow Americans are not totally obtuse to those facts. If you have been blessed to keep your home, car and career. That you are not totally apathetic to the plight of your fellow American.

         Are we to be ruled by the De Voss's, Koch's, Bush's, Romney's and Goldman Sachs' of America?

        Or are we willing to do what it takes to rule ourselves?

        Does it matter to you that Judges are routinely making illegal decisions to benefit cronyism & corruption? Does it matter to you that our men and women are dying overseas without Congressional approvals? Do you care when an FBI, SEC or US Trustee (our Police) - are willfully blind to crimes by Goldman Sachs, Bain, Cerberus and JP Morgan?

         Is our Constitution worth fighting for - to preserve and protect?
