Last wed night we broadcast my first radio program for our new fledgling radio network Netroots Radio from our flagship station Blue Skies Radio.
We are a new progressive online radio station that has been formed by members of the DKos community, we seek listeners and callers and new show hosts.
Tonight I offer a link to our radio station podcasts, including our interview with Crashing Vor.
Here's a link to the podcast of our interview with Crashing Vor
In this interview
Justice Putnam and I discuss a range of topics with
Crashing Vor, including:
His music, including his new album Nichevo
New Orleans & Music
Gulf Oil Spill
Katrina
Louisiana Politics, historical and current
Select national political issues
Other stuff that just came up
The interview is 2 hours and 10 minutes long. I hope folks will take a listen.
IMO, C. Vor is a fascinating guy who really understands the Mississippi delta region, most things music, and clearly has a big picture understanding of the issues facing our nation.
If it's something worth discussing on Daily Kos, it is probably also worth discussing in live talk radio. Contact us through NetRoots Radio:Blue Skies if you have good ideas for a show of your own, interviews, possible show topics, and listen to our scheduled shows/podcasts. We are looking for informed progressive/populist viewpoints on all the major topics and from all the sub-communities within Daily Kos.
I hope you enjoy this interview.
Thank Vor!
