So often art speaks truth. In the past few weeks, Mother Nature has added her voice on the condition of Labor in America.
The Monument to Labor located in Omaha, Nebraska is underwater. These series of photos tell the story. This July 4th please remember the millions of un and under employed brothers and sisters, especially the ever growing 99ers.

The art buried beneath Mother Nature's tears speaks volumes.
Here's an Interactive map of the so-called Right to Work states as of 2001.
I recommend this diary written by Laura Clawson for a look at right to work.

The Monument to Labor in Omaha has given it a new name:
The right to sink into third world status, imo.
Help The 99ers
As a result of the continuing crisis in America's job market, almost 1.9 million men and women have exhausted the maximum of up to 99 weeks of state and Federal unemployment benefits. Four million men and women are forecast to join the ranks of the 99ers this year.
Policies that spur job creation will help resolve the crisis, but the 99ers also need access to the same lifeline that the rest of the nation's unemployed have.
Did you know that over 13,000,000 homes experienced foreclosure proceedings between 2006-2010. Nice country.
Were the foreclosured job related?
RealtyTrac reported the following foreclosure activity for each year, 2007-2010.
2006 - 1,200,000 1 of 92 households,
Unemployment 4.4%*
2007 - 2,203,295
December Unemployment 4.9%
2008 - 2,330,483
December Unemployment 7.2%
2009 - 3,957,643
December Unemployment 10%
2010 - 3,835,637

Wages in America are too low to support a good life with savings for children's education. 40% of Americans earn less than $20,000 a year.
Wages have been flat or worse for decades
Thank you, you heartless Congressional servants to greed and power for sinking the America worker and their families.
How are we going to spin these numbers to win enough votes to hold onto the White House if, heaven forbid, the GOP nominates a moderate candidate like affable Jon Huntsman?
