Good news for the fighter from Pennsylvania, Sen. Bob Casey.
PPP has his favorables at a pretty decent 40/32, and has him trouncing his opponents. His 18 pt lead over Scaringi, and 20 pt lead over Cummings are very encouraging.
Pennsylvania of course will be a strong play for Obama's team, as they rightly believe that Obama can carry it again. With Casey's strong standing so far, it's gotta be encouraging that Obama and Casey can stand on the stage together and handle their business.
A cadre of prospective candidates who don't seem likely to actually make the race against Casey do better than Scaringi and Cummings, but still all trail by double digit margins. Tim Murphy trails by 12 points at 47-35, and Jim Gerlach and Jake Corman each trail by 16 points at 49-33 and 51-35 respectively
It's good to see a Dem from the 2006 wave in good standing, and lest not forget he is the first Democrat elected to a full term in the U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania since 1962. Let's shore up that support.
