There's an excellent diary up from LibbyLuLu on a feminist perspective on why men should use condoms:

Thank you! These wise words need to appear everywhere men can see them, for they so clearly spell out the situation in a reality-based way. And they also shed light on why so many young men today are just forgetting sex and women all together: women and sex just aren't worth it.
Read LibbyLuLu's diary and think about this:
Today, all responsibility for birth control is with the man ("you don't want a kid, don't pull it out of your pants.." and that kind of talk) So much for the womens' movement that "liberated" women to be in charge of their own bodies.
But rubbers bust. Ask any man that put one on, then had the oil-based hand lotion on his partner's hands weaken the rubber so it rips - unknown and unwanted to the man. Ooops! Sorry dude - you're a dad.
Men today have all the responsibility and none of the freedom when it comes to sex. All of the responsibility for birth control is on them, yet they have no say on whether the baby is aborted or not. So much for equality; we're telling young men to "man up" and be the one responsible for pregnancy (I swear, the words and shaming used are straight out of the 1940s and 50s), yet we give them no say on abortion.
And still we wonder why so many young men are catching on to this lopsided situation. To many, women just aren't worth it.
