Ed Schultz interviewed Matthews on his radio show today. Chris had even more "inside baseball" observations, than he usually does. Never knew the guy, was such a serious Dem.
Ed asked Chris what he thought of the Boehner vs Cantor dynamic of late? The reply was as memorable as it was apt and funny too. It went roughly like this:
What we are seeing now is the difference between the Kids and the Adults. And this is never more obvious than when everyone one goes on a road trip.
The Kids are are the ones riding in back, without a care in the world, constantly asking 'Are we there yet?'
The Adults are the ones driving the car, who have to pay for gas, and plan the trip, and who have pay all the bills. You know -- Be the Adults.
Cantor is acting very much, like 'the Kid' on this road trip.
Whoa! Good one Matthews.
Ed went on to read the Cantor Quote from one of his school yearbooks, early in his career:
Eric Cantor:
"I want, what I want, when I want it!"
Wow. That's explains a lot.
Here's a tribute to all the "Cantor Children", in Congress now, who are trying take America for a Ride:

I'm sure they would love to "Crash America's Economy" too, given the chance, just to see what would happen;
and also, so they'd have something to complain about on their Sunday Snooze shows circuit, too. We can't expect them to actually have a Grown-up plan of their own, now can we?
Afterall, "They want, what they want, when they want it!"
-- Get in Line, America.
LOL, good stuff, Ed, thanks. Thanks Chris.
