The fate of the bill rests with the following 14 tea-party members who signed the cut, cap and balance pledge, otherwise known as the I-Am-Full-of-Bullshit Pledge or the I-Want-to-Sabotage-the-Obama-Economy Pledge. These 14 are currently undecided. FreedomWorks, the national tea-party group led by Dick "I like to call myself an economist" Armey, has come out against the Boehner bill because it does not comply with the pledge. Apparently, Boehner has to get 12 of the 14 to say yes or the bill dies. Call these representatives and remind them of their sacred duty to cut, cap and balance and the fact that the Boehner's bill accomplishes none of the three (it doesn't, so no deceit here). Let them know they will be held accountable if they vote yes (again, no deceit here because the tea-party will hold them accountable).
