In the back of my mind I have have always wondered, where is the youth anger in this country?
I dont see it anywhere, not in them, not at their schools, not in their music, not in their media., no where. I mean with media on demand you would think they would be able to assemble and bring their youth and energy to the forefront, after all its their future being destroyed.
Instead we hear crickets. I ran across an article that really explains this well and answers my nagging questions.

The author, a clinical psychologist, really nails it IMHO. He list 8 reasons, ranging from debt, to medicine, to tv, to ways we are actually taught from day 1.
Add to this the normalization of surveillance and poor diets, I think he just about explains exactly why I seemingly am more angry then my young family members.
Im a mid 40 white guy who has had a pretty easy life and yet I am angry as hell because I see so many being denied any chance to have what I had, yet they seem to be apathetic, but at least now I know why.
Anyway, its a great read, and of course it just leads to one more way fixing this nation will be such an uphill climb.
