Hello TwiUpians. It’s Thursday again and for those of you who follow the series you know it’s our normal full fledged entry in The Week in UFO Phenomenon, and this week the story we have to tell is a dozy.
However, before we begin just a little housecleaning to remind everyone who didn’t get the chance to visit our last Thursday’s presentation. Kossack Tales our Friends Tell Their Stories. About 3 weeks or so after we began the series I started begging people who had had experiences with UFOs to please share their stories, and many people did. We shared those stories last week, and considering how much ridicule people who are brave enough to come out of the dark on this matter have to be, thanking them again and linking the work is the least I could do.
Now on to this week’s story. A few weeks ago I put forth the question in a poll that if “disclosure” were to occur how would people like it to be done. In other words do you want the government to disclose, would you like the scientific community to “disclose” and so on. By a large majority people wanted to hear it first from Science. Well here’s a possible beginning.
Helm engage the warp drive destination over the fold.
An ocean exploration team led by Swedish researcher Peter Lindberg has found what some are suggesting is a crashed flying saucer. Lindberg's team, which has had success in the past recovering sunken ships and cargo, was using sonar to look for the century-old wreck of a ship that went down carrying several cases of a super-rare champagne. Instead, the team discovered what it claims is a mysterious round object that might (or might not) be extraterrestrial.
Lindberg explained to local media that his crew discovered, on the 300-foot-deep ocean floor between Finland and Sweden, "a large circle, about 60 feet in diameter. You see a lot of weird stuff in this job, but during my 18 years as a professional I have never seen anything like this. The shape is completely round."
Adding to the mystery at the bottom of the Gulf of Bothnia, Lindberg said he saw evidence of scars or marks disturbing the environment nearby, suggesting the object somehow moved across the ocean floor to where his team found it.

The object could, of course, be a natural phenomena, or something manmade.
Without any assurance it was otherworldly, The Ocean Explorer team initially said it had no intention to pursue further investigation after publicizing the finding.
"It is not in our sphere of interest to go for this object since the cost for each hour out on the sea are tremendous," wrote Lindberg, whose company has made a name for itself by searching for "fluid gold" -- bottles of champagne, wine and liquor that can be retrieved from shipwrecks, with great profit.
"Since it might be nothing we can not afford spending funds just to have a look at it, even if it might be a 'new' Stonehenge standing on the bottom."
But thanks to international media coverage, interest from around the world and perhaps some donations, The Ocean Explorer team appears to have had a change of heart.
"We will go out again soon to document and film the object," reads a message on the website. "We have received many emails that people want to donate money to the project. We are very grateful for your donation."
On the Ocean Explorer Facebook page, where team members have already started advertising"Secrets Of The Sea 2011-12" shirts decorated with a picture of the round object on the seafloor for $20 Lindberg wrote the following message:
Ok folks here are some relevant information; We will equipe the ROV with a real time 3D-sonar so we can get really nice images at close range . . . [W]e will use a multibeam sonar and an ordinary side scan sonar. We will have divers with rebreather equipment with us but they will be sent down as a last option. We have also thought about geiger-equipment. But right now there is not enough funds so we can proceed, we working on it though

YEEE HAW! Tallyho intrepid explorers of the sea floor you had my 20 bucks at hello and a t-shirt too! Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Here is their facebook page if you want a shirt too
Ok space fans we’re going to do the Youtubes a little different and conduct an experiment. It was bothering me that I had to post 10 or 15 players in here and it made me edit what videos I decided to show for the week in that I know all those players slow down the show. So this week we’re going to embed the entire list of sightings and crop circles in individual players and it will be up to the user (you) to decide to hit play and watch all the videos that are included in the player.
However first I did want to pull out this little nugget about Hillary Clinton for your approval.
Wild huh? I might feature this story next week.
There are 11 separate videos in this player
CROP CIRCLE TIME
There are 4 for this week.
Namaste friends! I've gotten a few messages asking how does one join the most entertaining group on Daily Kos and it's ever so easy.
The Week in UFO Phenomenon's profile page go here and hit the little heart next to the groups name. See you on Sunday with another fun documentary and until next time keep looking up!
10:11 AM PT: Dang it! I meant to mention this in the body. On August 4 03:57 UTC an M9 solar flare cracked off. This is following an earlier M5 meaning our magnetosphere is due a good hit on August 4th at 22:39 UT plus minus 7 hours. That means the lucky people who live up north are going to have the chance to see some auroras, so when I said keep looking up go outside and look up!
