Interesting tidbit:
The Wisconsin State Supreme Court, infamous for the recent Justice Prossser obscene rants against the Chief Justice and attempted choking of another Justice, has posted a job opening for an official clerk.
They have been without an official clerk since their last one, David Schanker, died at age 55 following a heart transplant.
Join me below the squiggle.
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal:
The first line of the job posting for clerk of the Wisconsin Supreme Court says it all:
"This key management role offers a challenging work environment."
No kidding on the "challenging part. The acting clerk, Director of State Courts John A. Voelker, apparantly doesn't want the job.
It's likely people won't be rushing in to take the job since Governor Walker and his trusty band of RW Republicans have made sure that all state employees will have to pay in much more for their benefits and pensions. As for wages, public service doesn't pay that great (unless you're the mistress of State Senator Randy Hopper and then you get a state job with an immediate 35% raise).
If you can stomach working with a raving RW lunatic, this job might be for you.
Yes, that last part was snark.
