Let's see. The U.S. is the greatest country on earth (just go with it) with a financial system and military machine that is threatening to bring down the entire planet.
Citizens in other countries are trying to fight the good fight but nothing seems to be changing, in fact things are getting worse. Maybe it's time for the citizens of the country most responsible for the problems to take a turn at doing something.
A Wall Street Executive, a Big Bank President, a Pentagon General, and a Lemming walk into a bar.
The Wall Street Executive orders a double martini on the rocks with a green olive, stirred not shaken.
The Big Bank President orders a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne, chilled to perfection.
The Pentagon General orders a frozen daiquiri with an umbrella stir-stick.
The Lemming asks for a phone, makes a quick call, then orders a beer and announces to everyone that drinks are on his new friends.
The Wall Street Executive, the Pentagon General, and the Big Bank President appear absolutely flabbergasted. The Big Bank President says, “You can’t do that, that’s our money not yours. Besides you’re just a lemming.”
The door to the bar opens and in walk fifty of the Lemmings friends.
The Lemming looks straight at all three of them and says, “Fuck you. That’s not your money, it’s ours. And I might be a Lemming but you know what they call a large group of angry and determined Lemmings?”
“What?”, asks the Corporate CEO.
“Power”, says the Lemming, who then ordered another round.
“the wealth amassed by millionaire households is set to increase by more than 100% over the next 9 years. From a total of $92 trillion held by the world's richest in 2011, by 2020 the world's millionaire households will possess $202 trillion, or roughly 4 times current global GDP. Even though much of move up is attributed to the wealth surge in the developing world, the biggest beneficiary is, you guessed it, the United States where the millionaires (those with net wealth of at least $1 million), who currently account for $38.6 trillion of total wealth, will see their assets increased by 225% to $87.1 trillion!”

Lemmings don't really commit mass suicide, they work together.
