This just in from SkyNet Corporation: Iowa GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann is a cyborg who was brought back in time from 2046 in a vain attempt to save the Tea Party from complete destruction in 2012. The problem? Her programmers in the future loaded her with flawed "Talking Point 2.0" software that was considered to be sufficient enough to fool the public.
That strategy worked for her Ames, Iowa straw poll victory on August 13, 2011, despite using the same talking points over and over (see clip below).
But on the following day, she appeared on four different Sunday talk shows (NBC's Meet The Press, Fox News Sunday, CBS's Face The Nation & CNN's State Of The Union).
And once again, she give a multiple dose of canned, duplicate answers each and every time.
CNN's Don Lemon surprisingly got more candid and non-rehearsed answers from the presumably programmed Sarah Palin at the Iowa State Fair. But as you'll see below in the same clip, Bachmann was on full auto-run with somebody clicking desktop icons in her head when needed (ones that said "tip of the spear", "punch in the gut", "job creator" and anything else that her campaign advisor Ed Rollins came up with).
When asked for a comment, the lead SkyNet programmer was quoted as saying "Holy shit, we've hit the Blue Screen Of Death! Alternate power! Safe mode reboot!"
Back to the drawing board, SkyNet! Next time, send us someone with the brain of Stephen Hawking and the charm of Betty White.
Oh and if you want to throw in some curves a la Brooke Burke, I won't complain.[/snark]
