Rep. Doug "I flunked American History 101" Lamborn
Seems Colorado Republican Rep. Doug Lamborn needs to spend a little more time with his Constitution. Particularly those pesky amendments, like the
first one.
Following backlash and protests from Moveon.org and other liberal groups for calling President Obama a "tar baby," signs saying "Private Property: No soliciting, No protesting, No loitering" have appeared outside the building housing Lamborn's Colorado Springs office in a corporate office park.
That restriction apparently doesn't apply to Lamborn supporters, who held a "spontaneous" rally for Lamborn at his offices on Friday.
Lamborn has apologized to President Obama for "using a term some find insensitive." Apparently that's the "some" people who aren't allowed to talk about it outside of Lamborn's office.

12:32 PM PT: I just received this, via e-mail from Rep. Lanborn's office:
The property management company today, at the request of the Congressman's office, removed the word "protesting" from the sign. The Congressman wants to make clear that the public is free to gather and protest. The management company only requests that protesters give the building's tenants and their customers unimpeded access to the building and parking spaces.
Protesters are always welcome to gather on the sidewalk in front of the property. Groups are also welcome to request a meeting with the Congressman or staff inside our office.
