I see a diary on the rec list warning of Green bogeymen under your bed. There are greens to the left of you, greens to the right.
On top of the latest meta wars about the dumbass in New Mexico OFA who likes to send around deaniac's vile attacks on progresisves, now we are getting "green baiting" here.
The secret and hidden Greens are "way out in left field":
Yep, they are everywhere. Oh, they don't call themselves 'greenies' anymore for obvious reasons. But they are the left of the left, way out in left field. And they are doing what they do best in events leading up to an important election. They are telling everyone to take their ball and go home because the Democrat is too similar to the Republican. There is no difference so why help out the Democrats. We will not participate until the Democrat party is the true party of the people...perfect in every way.
The 'Greenies' are back in full force
Do you really think you are helping Barack Obama when you "green bait" progressives?
You help about as much as Deaniac does with his vile screeds.
I said what I had to say yesterday. I don't care if OFA, Barack Obama, Plouffe or you like me or call me names. I'm going to do what I think is right regardless.
And I do think the re-election of Barack Obama is right for left progressives, notwithstanding his many centrist and disappointing policies. I think we need a common front with all Democrats, including OFA and the conservatives who inhabit parts of the Democratic Party.
That said, if you try to purge people or to "red bait" or "green bait," you will regret it.
You only screw yourselves that way. You will create an impetus to a third party or staying home. Perhaps there are some who wish to shut down criticism now. Clearly the NM guy wants to, and deaniac has a long history of seeking purges here.
We're not shutting up. I will fight the job-killing trade deals of Barack Obama. It appears Nancy Pelosi isn't happy about them either:
Pelosi pushes back against Obama-backed free-trade agreements
By Mike Lillis - 08/03/11 03:07 PM ET
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi pushed back Wednesday against several pending free-trade agreements championed by President Obama.
The California Democrat signaled doubts that looming trade deals with South Korea, Panama and Colombia would benefit U.S. workers. President Obama on Tuesday called on Congress to approve the deals, which he and Republicans argue would create jobs.
“The White House may support it, but the Congress may have a different view,” Pelosi warned on MSNBC.

Maybe she's a secret Green also? Minority Leader of the House.
This is Daily Kos, not Daily OFA. We're not leaving and I don't think Markos wishes to force out any critics of Obama here.
So take your green baiting and shove it.
