In a daring move to destabilize the republican primaries Jon Huntsman plays the sanity card:
"I can't remember a time in our history where we actually were willing to shun science and become a - a party that - that was antithetical to science. I'm not sure that's good for our future and it's not a winning formula."
Jon Huntsman
Dear lord that is heresy!
"Well, I wouldn't necessarily trust any of my opponents right now, who were on a recent debate stage with me, when every single one of them would have allowed this country to default."
Jon Huntsman
He then dares to point out an actual fact
"And people who are already losing enough as it is on their 401(k)s and retirement programs and home valuations, it would have been catastrophic."
Jon Huntsman
Shame on you Jon!
Can proving your sanity be a viable tactic so early on in the campaign? Can flying in the face of republican collective lunacy be a winner? Or will republican Jesus smite him?
Poor Jon that when faced with such a shower he has to prove that he doesn't live on the other-side of crazy and will henceforth have not an ice-cubes chance in the fires of hell of being nominated.
Will he be forced to apologize to the holy flag-pin?
Seeing that he is running at around 1% of the republican popularity contest perhaps this daring move will gain him another 1%.
Will Mitt Romney flip flop and follow him over the sanity event horizon and totally disrupt the republican primaries?
This I doubt; sanity cannot win this race.
