UPDATE OK..its been pointed out that this may not make sense without context. Sorry.
see my smartmeter diary series. Basically, I was hit with record usage and I had to find out what caused it or if it was even possible and along the way I got the feeling that the power industry in Texas may have committed a crime of some sorts. I get the feeling (but do not know) that people view what I have to say as an 'extraordinary claim'.
There was a recent diary about extraordinary claims requiring extraordinary proof and I just wanted to say why I didnt consider my claims as extraordinary.
end update
This will be probably the shortest diary in history but I wanted it to stand on its own so it can be discussed on its own.
I keep seeing the phrase "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". I also
see that Conspiracy Theories (CT) should be avoided.
I have called my position on my smartmeter a conspiracy theory becasue I like to think that way. Its fun. I was/am a big X-Files fan. I've seen enough in this world to know that the difference between a CT and a known case of law breaking is just a few facts...a few missing pieces.
My smartmeter diaries are about my personal experience with my smartmeter.
I feel Ive done a good job at raising serious doubt over the validity of my smartmeter's data.
My smartmeter's record usage claims are questionable. My smartmeters record usage is a component of the total usage for my area. That total usage consists of usage from my meter and meters just like it. If my meters usage is questionable then the total usage should also be questioned.
Its not that far of a leap to me.
I say plainly that I feel a crime may have been committed. I also say that I can't prove it. Its up to the authorities to prove those things. As for me, the best I can do is try to convince others that smartmeters can't proceed unquestioned.
There are far too many people having far too many problems. I don't know why but it deserves at least a look.
Plus...Texas can't seem to go more than a few years without another case a power industry market manipulation. This is the land of Enron after all.
It really doesnt seem that much of a stretch to me to say that smartmeters are being intentionally manipulated to show more usage than is actually occurring. They can be updated wirelessly for heavens sake!
anyway...the 'crime' portion of my claim can be seen as a CT but the questionable data portion of what I say is not conspiracy.
If you don't feel that my claims are extraordinary, then I appreciate that and would enjoy hearing from you. I'm very close to giving up completely in my fight for answers.
