I'm not changing the title. Each diary is new, and I think a set title helps people find a blog - there are so many. "Life" refers to my life, and I doubt if adding "my" would change anything, AND I live in Wyoming.
My "paradigm" should you wish to call it that, is based on an integrated p.o.v. That is, I'm not religious or political, therefore those belief systems have much less influence on what I see around me. I honestly take people as they come: I don't care what religion, political party or social class they belong to. I listen to what others say and observe behavior. I am disappointed if someone professes a moral code, and then behaves to the contrary.
Each of us has something to say about being human, and being listened to SINCERELY and attentively is the only true equality that we have. We cannot listen sincerely if our beliefs are so narrow and out of touch with reality, that our brains are consumed by the desire to be "right."
My perspective as a scientist is that like all other life on earth we are entirely biological; we act mostly from an unconscious, but trustworthy, brain that is the result of evolution, just like other mammals. We also have a weak, but clever conscious aspect of the brain we might call "the driver" - it needs trained; that's why all cultures educate their children. Only this aspect can be trained to be rational.
If I think of anything else, I'll let y'all know. Right now my unconscious brain is telling me I'm hungry and thirsty.
