Boycott if you really feel you must. But the endless parade of "yes/no" and and side-taking navel-gazing over it has moved beyond ridiculous. Just stop it.
The hip-deep bouts of Meta Mania have moved into the insufferable phase. If anything is "killing this blog", it's the endless self-absorption of some of the people who hang out here whenever a group of well-intentioned members takes an "action" on one thing or another.
This is a website dedicated to discussion and activism regarding the election of more and better Democrats. It is NOT some self-important force of nature by which the denizens who inhabit it regularly own it to the point where They Must Make Individual Statements In Post Format In Order To Maintain General Blog Integrity, At The Expense of Everything and Everybody Else.
I love many of the posters here, but there's becoming a perception that the blog party around here is solely all about You and Your Meta whenever the mood strikes you. And it's just not. It is bigger than all of us and we must treat it as such. Boycott if you must, if you really feel it's worth expending all this energy over. Just go away for a week. The rest of us will be pulling your weight while you're gone, hunting for those elusive more and better Dems. We're running out of time.
