The Boston Globe reported the exciting news yesterday:
National group raises more than $300,000 for Elizabeth Warren
...Progressive Change Campaign Committee said its $302,532.89 comes from 14,737 donations, which average about $20 each. Many political insiders are eager to see what happens in the race for campaign cash over the next two weeks.
That total is now over $310,000 $315,000 and growing by the hour -- please add to it here!
Along with thousands more raised in emails by Daily Kos (Markos, Chris Bowers, et al.) and Blue America (Howie Klein, Digby, John Amato), progressive movement infrastructure has raised over $350,000 of the $500,000 Elizabeth Warren received on ActBlue. Amazing.
This momentum is testament to Elizabeth Warren's heroic record fighting for middle-class families against big Wall Street interests -- and the willingness of thousands of progressive movement activists to support progressive heroes when they run for office.

(UPDATE: Thanks for putting this on most-recced list! Please keep em coming so others can see!)
In addition to the national energy for Elizabeth Warren represented by these mind-blowing fundraising totals, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee has witnessed the local energy in Massachusetts firsthand.
When we launched a "Draft Elizabeth Warren for Senate" campaign the day Warren was passed over to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, thousands of folks in Massachusetts immediately joined.
Even cooler, many local PCCC members volunteered to lead Draft Elizabeth Warren organizing councils in their communities. Before Warren was even a candidate, neighbors met in each others' living rooms to plan how to organizing locally in support of this progressive hero.
Here's some of the news that resulted:
Wicked Local, Cambridge: Elizabeth Warren supporters shore up support in Cambridge
Watertown Patch: Even though Warren hasn't declared yet, a small group of people met in a home in Watertown last week to discuss her candidacy, and how to support her, if she announces.
Framingham Patch: The Draft Elizabeth Warren Metrowest Committee was formed on Aug 30. None of its initial members knew each other before.
And here's a gem from national ABC News about a former Scott Brown voter now organizing through PCCC for Elizabeth Warren!
Cynthia Curtis was put in touch with three other Warren supporters, and in a week, set up a “Draft Warren” house party in her Wellesley home for more than 50 people, many of whom she didn’t know.
“The enthusiasm was electrifying. Everybody knew she wasn’t going to be there. It’s not something affiliated with her exploratory committee and all these people came,” Curtis said. “I think she will immediately leap to the head of the pack and certainly hearing from folks in attendance last week, there’s not an awful lot of enthusiasm for the other candidates.”
Curtis added: “She’s a fighter, she’s a believer in equality, she’s a believer in fairness. She’s a believer and supporter of the middle class, and I think that’s really lacking today.”
Curtis said she’s a registered independent, and even voted for Brown when he ran for the Massachusetts State Senate, because she lived in his district, but said she didn’t “know what Scott Brown stands for anymore.”
We're going to work with Elizabeth Warren's campaign to build a field operation that integrates this local energy. We'll also find ways for folks across the nation to volunteer for the cause.
