The NYPD is getting more active with harassment of the protesters. They confiscated the gasoline for the media centers generator. They are reporting that the park is completely surrounded by law enforcement and it sounds like they are making it difficult getting in and out. Don't know if it is the actual NYPD or whether is security people causing the problems.
9PM is General Assembly. Right now they are working on trying to get gas in.
Livestream is reporting that there were 7 protesters arrested this Am (confirmed . 4 for wearing masks, 1 for jumping police barricade, 2 for attempting to enter BOA and 1 for writing on sidewalk with chalk. Twitter says they called that graffiti.
Google is filling up with news stories on the Protest. Notably absent are MSNBC, Current. - very disappointing. Huffington Post is reporting, but they are not putting anything on the Front page.
Twitter reporting that the police are refusing to let them use their bullhorn. They are resorting to their Peoples' Microphone technique. One twitter says that this is a heavily populated residential area which may explain why the police are getting away with the petty restrictions.
It looks like they are still getting support both locally (which is very impressive in its self) and regional. A company donated tents on the condition that they would keep them in good condition and donate to the homeless after the occupation. The police won't let them erect the tents but they can use them as outwear.
Suggestion: Would the Kos community be willing to send messages to the NYPD/Public employees/Labor unions asking them to support the protesters? Maybe remind them that these young people are fighting for them and their families just as much as the rest of us.
Any other suggestions to help these folks?

Its been harder to get more information today, so its a disjointed relay, sorry about that.
We are fortunate that this is a peaceful protest, but that does not diminish the importance of these young people and their hard work in this protest. (And it is Work) Its a start and hopefully a beginning point where the rest of us will join them in solidarity around the country. And the rest of the world where they are actually getting slaughtered by ruthless dictators. We can't forget them either.
