Republicannibals started by eating this country's brains when Ronnie Raygun stopped enforcing the Fairness Doctrine and Druggie Rush started feasting on Americans' brains daily over 90% of the public airwaves.  Republicannibals ate Americans' legs when the same Ronnie Raygun busted the air traffic controllers' union, setting the stage for non-stop union busting from that day on.  Republicannibals started eating the country's eyes when Australian Rupert Murdoch created Fake News to blind Americans to the travesty of impeaching a president who was too popular and would have set up another Democratic win for Al Gore.

Republicannibals ate Americans' arms when their Evangelical hoards infiltrated voting booths across the country to steal two elections for their chosen ordained president who couldn't even form a coherent sentence.

Republicannibals ate this country's vital organs when the ordained president handed power to a mechanically enhanced vice president who approved torture.

Now, Republicannibals are drooling and ready to eat this country's heart by refusing to aid disaster victims and preparing to cut off funds for the unemployed, the disabled, the elderly and the desperately poor.

Republicannibals will only be satisfied when they can gnaw on this country's bones of the Middle Class and leave them lying to bleach on the deserts of this country's former fertile land that's been decimated by the polluted air, water and soil created by the global warming they've always denied.

Democrats are the only hope to stop Republicannibals from finishing the job on the body politic Ronnie Raygun started 30 years ago.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
