Pardon the caps. I'm about to leave for an enjoyable afternoon at the mechanic's and I won't have time to tend this diary, so I'm asking LOUDLY up front.
You've probably read this wonderful Rec List diary by now.
I offered an impertinent response to it:
This really does beg to be put into e-book form. Anyone here have the chops to do it, maybe along with some of the other diaries with first-person perspective reporting on events in New York, from pepper spraying to Brooklyn Bridge? This should be made available to people who aren't on DKos.

I was, of course, just trying to make trouble, as usual. But I miscalculated. The diary's author, HankNYNY, likes the idea!
I would love advice.. It only took a few hours to hammer out this content, and I have lots more to say about everything in between.
I would love any contact info you think could help...

Now I'm screwed. I tossed out an idea and someone with a great contribution to make wants to act on it. This happens so rarely that I didn't even think through the consequences.
So: anyone know how to put together an e-book? Could you have it done by tomorrow?
