Canada's true progressive party has been re-elected to form their 4th straight majority provincial government in Manitoba. The results are very similar to the results of the last general election, with few gains or losses for any party.
And it's official, a historic win for the NDP, in spite of the polls being very close in the run-up. This is another proud moment for progressive forces in North America. The "Progressive" Conservative leader, Hugh McFadyen, who has now lost two straight, will most likely get the boot.
UPDATE: McFadyen has announced he's quitting.
