More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

  •  I was told by hotel security (31+ / 0-)

that I couldn't stand on the sidewalk.  I wasn't blocking anything and I wasn't even next to their entry.

We were birdogging Hillary Clinton for voting along with Bush.  As soon as the outside vigil ended and people began to either leave or infilitrate, I was left outside with the people's items and stood with Veteran's for Peace people to wait.

Since there was only a few of us and I was standing by myself at the time,  a pair of "security guards" started to harrass me.

BOHICA came up and told them of my rights.  He was awesome and taught me some invaluable lessons.

    1.  Always ask if the "guard" is an actual policeman.  Otherwise they can fuck off.

    2.  I can stand on a sidewalk.

    3.  Always carry my bill of rights and the constitution on my person.

BOHICA had the Bill of Rights whipped out and in the guards faces.

then we stood outside in the rain waiting for the codepink ladies to come out.  They were bruised and scratched up from standing up and asking Hillary why she voted for the illegal occupations and murder of innocent women and children in Iraq.

A Democratic leader stood silent as people were dragged out for asking a question.

I was told I couldn't stand on the sidewalk of the Hiilton Hotel.

I love this video.  It shows how people have become sheeple.

This blockquote section is the guy with the bullhorn speaking, follows is his interaction with the first "policeman" type...

Everything you read in the mainstream media is 100% true.

Please! Go back to your jobs.

If you have not got a job, you are a worthless human being.

Consume! Consume! Consume until we have no planet left to consume.

What you need to do is buy things that you don't need. That's the best way to support the economy.

Smiling is bad for the economy. Please do not smile.

Sir, sir! (unintelligible) to your next shopping experience.

It's very important for children to be trained in ripping people's bodies to shreds. So come and buy some games with lots of killing and destruction and War.

          Independent thoughts lead to chaos.

Thinking is boring. Thinking is hard work, and it's not worth the energy.

If you see a Buddhist on the street, try and get them to leave their religion.

(unintelligible) trying to get us to meditate. Meditation is a waste of good shopping time.

Miserable people shop more, so, please, remain as miserable as you can.

(unintelligible) the aliens of my planet, they call you Sheeple not people. I will not stoop so low...  baaaa-aa-aa-aa-aa (sound of a couple people chuckling here)

It's very nice that we have security in a corporate zone, imitating corporate servants...

screen shows the text: "the first fake policeman arrives"

'policeman': "Alright, wait, no. You're not allowed. Not allowed. No sir.

'bullhorn': "What am I not allowed to do?"

'policeman': "Let me see your paperwork."

'bullhorn': "My paperwork? Can I ask you something? Why are you dressed up "impersonating" a police officer?"

'policeman': "I... I suggest you put... the... the megaphones down and stop protesting, please."

'bullhorn': "You are suggesting that I put my megaphone down and stop protesting...."

          'policeman': "Now!"

'bullhorn': "... I am not protesting. I am just speaking through (a) megaphone..."

('Policeman' shakes his head, as though he cannot believe what he is hearing.)

'policeman': "Well, you're not allowed to do...

'bullhorn': "... and what I do is give people... I give hugs... what you need is a hug." (moves forward to hug the 'policeman' who back ups rapidly) "... and you do need a hug..."

'policeman': (unintelligible) ('Policeman' backs up more, waving 'Bullhorn' off as he does)

          Enter another person...

'policeman #2': " (unintelligible) yourself, you caught me

'Bullhorn': "Yes sir, yes sir, keep it calm, keep it calm."

          SOHO - Central London

Get back inside, and get back to work. That's what you should be doing. Stop putting your head out there (to figure in 2nd story window above him). Try to find your unintelligible, the more you work, the better. When you die, you'll regret that you haven't worked more.

Oh, by the way, here's a gentleman. If you were told not to film this, that is an abuse of power. You are completely entitled to film whatever you like - and that is on the Metropolian Police website.

          So please continue.

(small break in film here, only a few seconds, you can tell from the video)

Isn't it amazing when people are in uniform, they completely lose their mind?

starts conversation 2:15 of 8:02 with 'White Shirt'

'White Shirt': ".. put down the megaphone for a moment ..."

'Bullhorn': "I know you do, but I prefer to speak with the megaphone, so everybody knows what I'm saying."

'White Shirt': "You 'aven't got permission to be in here..."

'Bullhorn': "No one has got permission to be here. Hold on a second... excuse me, Madam, d'you have permission to be here? Do you have permission? Do you have permission? (moving from person to person as he asks)" .... "You're a very, very naughty lot of people. I think we unintelligible a lot of police out here..."

      •  OK, this is up through 2:34 (5+ / 0-)

I'm going to have to divide it up a bit:

Man with bullhorn:  Everything you read in the mainstream media is 100% true.  Please, go back to your jobs.  If you have not got a job, you are a worthless human being.
Consume, consume, consume until we have no planet left to consume.  What you need to do is buy things that you don’t need.  That’s the best way to support the economy.  Smiling is bad for the economy.  Please do not smile.  But, please move swiftly to your next shopping experience.
It’s very important for the children to be trained in ripping people’s bodies to shreds [cuts to violent video game].  So come and buy some games with lots of killing and destruction and war.
Independent thoughts lead to chaos.  Thinking is boring.  Thinking is hard work, and it’s not worth the energy.
If you see a Buddhist on the street, try and get them to leave their religion.  Buddhists are trying to get us to meditate.  Meditation is a waste of good shopping time.  Miserable people shop more, so please, remain as miserable as you can.
Second man with bullhorn: Aliens on my planet, they call you “sheeple,” not  people.    But I will not stoop so low.  It is very nice that we have security in a corporate zone, imitating public servants.
Fake police:  You’re not allowed, not allowed, not at all.
Second man with bullhorn:  What am I not allowed to do?
Fake police: [unintelligible] .. my work.
Second man with bullhorn:  my paper work?  Can I ask you, sir, why are you dressed up as and impersonating a police officer?
Fake police: I, I suggest you put your megaphone down and stop protesting.
Second man with bullhorn: You are suggesting that I put my megaphone down and stop protesting.
        Fake police:  Now.
Second man with bullhorn: I am not protesting.  I am just speaking through a megaphone.
Fake police:  well, I, ah, it’s not allowed.
Second man with bullhorn:  And what I do,  is give people [unintelligible] I give hugs.  What you need is a hug.
        Fake police: [muttering and objecting]
Second man with bullhorn:   No, you do need a hug [tries to give hug, fake police backing up].
        New officer:  Excuse me, sir.
        Second man with bullhorn: Yes.
        New officer: Calm.
Second man with bullhorn: Yes, I’ll keep it calm.

        Cuts to Soho- Central London

Man with Bullhorn:  Get back to work.  That’s what you should be doing.  [to man with head out window] Stop putting your head out of there.  [Go enjoy?] your lunch hour.  The more you work, the better.  When you die, you’ll regret that you haven’t worked more.
By the way, ladies and gentlemen, if you were told not to film this, that is an abuse of power.  You are completely entitled to film whatever you like, and that is at the Metropolitan Police website.  Please continue.  It is amazing, when people are in uniform, they completely lose their minds.
Man with tie:  Listen, I want you to put down the megaphone, now, what.
Man with bullhorn: I know you do, but I prefer to speak on a megaphone so everybody knows what I am saying.
Man with tie:  You don’t have permission to be here.
Man with bullhorn:  No one has got permission to be here.  Excuse me, madam, have you got permission to be here? [pointing to others] Do you have permission?  Have you?  No?  You’re a very, very naughty lot of people.  We’re going to need to get a lot of police out here.

Scene cuts to Police officer on bike
Man talking with officer:  See, something has happened about the police force in the last few years; and what has happened is, instead of them being here to protect us,
        Police:  yeah?
Man talking with officer:  what you’ve started to become is corporate gang, a gang of corporate security people that go around fining people for saying words.  You’ve sort of lost touch with what you’re really here to do,
        Police:  Have I?
Man talking with officer: which is to help us.
        Police:  Have I?
Man talking with officer:  It feels like it ..
        Police: Really?
Man talking with officer:  Yeah, ‘cause you’re not really helping anybody by, by fining him for saying word shit, or whatever other words.

        New scene

Man with bullhorn:  Does anyone else notice how [Canary Warf?? May be wrong] security uniforms look suspiciously like public servant police uniforms?
        Man: Yeah.
Man with bullhorn:  They are private employees of a private area, yet they are allowed to wear a uniform which looks exactly like a police uniform, because we are entering what some people call a police state.  I would call it a Canary Warf security state.
        New scene
Man with bullhorn:  Capitalism is a wonderful system.  OK, a few billion people get nothing.  But still, think of all the people that get lots.  Don’t worry about the fact that the Chinese people had to work for 50 cents a day.  They’re Chinese!  Who cares?  There’s a billion of them.
        New scene
Man with bullhorn:  What I’m going to say to you guys about facing the police is that this is nothing personal, and I’m going to show you how much it is nothing personal.  [hugs 3 officers; 2 don’t respond; one says, “cheers mate.”  Hugs 4th who responds positively].
Man with bullhorn: Ladies and gentlemen, the true thing is, I know we’re creating a scene, but creating a scene is not illegal. You were born free, you will live free, you will die free.  You are allowed to make a scene.  You are allowed to scream for joy.  You are allowed to play.  You’re allowed to cry.  You’re allowed to love people.  You’re allowed to hug people.  And we’re starting to live in a world where we’re starting to feel scared.  We’re starting to forget just how divine and special we are, just as human beings.  Every one of you is the only example of you that will ever exist, and there’s not a single authority on this world, especially not private security men, who can tell you how to behave at any time, any place, anywhere.  You are free.  You will live free.  You will die free.  The only changes that exist are in your mind.  You can do anything you want if you put your mind to it.

Man:  How come you’ve got the right to film me?
Blue shirt man:  Stop filming.  Stop filming, I said.
Man:  Tell me what the law is.
        Blue shirt man:  Stop filming.
Man:  You can’t take it up without private property.
Blue shirt man:  [covers camera with paper]
        New scene
Man with Bullhorn:  Let’s spend the next 2 minutes hugging as many people as you can. [hugs].  OK, that’s enough now.  Go back to your work and to your jobs, and go back and do what you’re told.
Second man with bullhorn:  Please carry on.  You’re wasting valuable shopping time.
[Fake policeman takes Pablo aside and tries to convince him that by filming, he’s aiding terrorists who will know who they are …]
Blue coat guy:  S’cuse me, stop filming.  S’cuse me, can you stop filming.
Grey coat man: there are pictures being taken by cctv cameras all the time.  Why does it bother you if we take it, or if the British transport police take it?  Have you lost your minds?  All we’re doing is just filming in a station.
Woman officer:  yeah but you’re, you ain’t got permission to.
Man officer: the reason is for that is for things like terrorists, just to give you an example.
        Grey coat man:  Uh-huh.
Man officer:  Yeah, they can be filming stuff undercover.
Grey coat man:  So you think that’s what we might be; terrorists?
        New scene
        Officer: Don’t say nothing!
Man with bullhorn:  Ladies and gentlemen, I’m not allowed to tell you what this man just told me, it’s top secret.  But it has something to do with terrorism.  Just to let you know, terrorism is just a word, and it’s a very clever word, used to control you.
        New scene (train station?)
Man with bullhorn: Terrorism.  Terrorism.  Terrorism.  Al Qaida.  Mohamed.  Terrorism.  Terrorism.  War I n Iraq.  War in Afghanistan.  Al Qaida.  Osama Bin Laden.  Tora Bora. Afghanistan.  Terrorism.  Stay scared.  Stay separate.  Terrorism.  Terror.  Terror is bad.  You are bad.  Go shopping. Stay scared.
        New scene
Man with bullhorn:  There is no difference, really, between terrorism and war, and therefore, the war on terrorism is like having a war on war.
Second man with bullhorn:  Also, what the gentleman said here is that the footage from our friends filming will be downloaded by Al Qaida who will then single all of you out, and blow you all up individually with an airliner.
        New scene
Man with bullhorn: Ladies and gentlemen, drinkers of [unintelligible], may I have your attention for a second?  This is a message from the architect of the Matrix.  We would like to thank you all for having no imagination, and taking [?] a corporate chain bar.
Second man with bullhorn: Wait a second, Charlie.  This guy looks a bit like a terrorist, doesn’t he.  Dark skinned, long hair, and the tie makes it look like he’s trying to make out that he’s not one.
        Man:  It’s not me.
Second man with bullhorn:  Are you a terrorist, sir?
Man: No, I’m definitely not a terrorist.
Second man with bullhorn:  You’re not?  Well, that’s what you’d say if you were a terrorist.  You wouldn’t say, “yes I am.”  That’s exactly what terrorists say.  [To crowd] If you see a terrorist, or someone looking like this man, report them to the police immediately.  We need to rid the world of terrorists and people with swine flu.
        New scene
Grey coat with bullhorn:  Always do what the police tell you to do, and everything will be fine.
        New scene
Man with bullhorn: I’d like to thank the city of London police for doing a wonderful job in their fluorescent jackets in protecting us all from the terrorists.
        New scene
Man:  The media is telling us to always be scared of terrorism or economic recession, so we’re just trying to do the opposite, and say that everything is fine.  True happiness can only come from within.  And, um, so we should stop looking for the other things to try to make us happy or scared, or full of fear.  If we could just realize for one second that everything that we want in life is infinite and from within us, we could spread love, and tell everyone that everything is ok.

The way those of us who are hearing impaired must.  With bullhorns, poor camera angles, back-lighting, and more blocking any attempt on our part to lip-read, it's impossible for us to tell what's being said.

Please, summarize or add a comment that explains what's happening so those of us who can't hear it can still participate. The comments posted to this video are equally unenlightening without context.

Wonderful. The Brits just seem to be born to irony.

I would have spent the last eight minutes fruitlessly waiting for the plumber to show up.  Instead, I spent them being constructively educated by two gentlemen from the other side of the world.

    Thank you!

I've decided to go to OccupySeattle. I even had a shirt made by a friend's mother in case I get arrested. The front says 'I need my meds' and the back says 'transplant patient' to clarify WHY I need them. Of course, they'll all be with me in their original scrip bottles just in case. What I haven't decided yet is whether to take Bitty Dog with me. She is fairly calm for a Toller and I don't know that I'd feel comfortable camping out solo and dogless in downtown Seattle (and except for hating fences, Bitty is well-behaved).

I don't know whether we could afford a video camera but we do have an old, cheap-ass megaphone. It long predates my partnership with Charles; Bob and I bought it for the protests outside the SF Chinese consulate back during Tiananmen Square, that's how old it is. I've been going to protests since I was 8 - my mother used to take us to sit-ins - and the only thing that has kept me from risking arrest since 2007 has been kidney issues. I will add that my transplant team does not want me to risk arrest because they're concerned about me being separated from my medication, hence the shirt and the need to carry not only my mediset, but the original labeled scrip bottles of all the meds I take daily so every pill in my mediset can be identified and I have  proof that it's prescribed for me. (I'll make sure I have a list of why I need them, and leave my pain medication at home if I can.)

Somebody needs to speak up for the people over here. The only ones here who aren't part of the 99% that I know of are our Congressman and the Bremers.

the '60's, including dropping cash on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
The really funny thing about that was that only 50 bills were dropped and they were all one dollar bills, but it caused pandemonium on Wall Street.
         And all over 50 bucks.
