Great to hear about the HUGE, let me say that again HUGE protest in New York City today. You guys are making us in Boston, and the entire country proud! Today I was at OccupyBoston from about 3 to 7pm, and today was a pretty productive day. There was a march to Bank of America, and a rally with health care workers as well, perhaps my favorite part. We also had the one and only Cornel West, who spoke at the rally and also was with us as we went in front of a large bank, at which point I actually got to talk to him really quick! I'm not ashamed to admit I had a fanboy moment, but he was really into it, and gave me 2 hugs and an autograph reading: "to brother Sam, love, cornel west". I was supposed to go to NYC today but overslept, so I guess everything worked out for the best for me! I brought my anarchist friend from NH with me, and we had a great time talking with people. And remember, we are the 99%!
(Also, as I was leaving, 5 more tents were going up!)
This is the monument to the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
The man himself! Right after I took that picture, I got to talk to him, and needless to say, it was the highlight of my whole day!
